Oxfordshire Wedding Venues – The Best Places for a Fireworks Finale
11 July 2026

Oxfordshire has some of the most spectacular wedding venues in the country — stately homes, riverside estates at Henley, and manor houses on the Cotswold fringes. Sonning Fireworks has been firing wedding displays across the county for over 20 years, and many of its venues feel like second homes to our crew. These are some of the places we know best.
Blenheim Park, Woodstock
The grandest backdrop in the county. We've fired in the parkland at Blenheim, where the sheer scale of the grounds allows a full-height display worthy of the setting — there are few sights like big shells breaking over that skyline.
Fawley Court, Henley-on-Thames
A magnificent Grade I listed house on the Thames at Henley, with grounds running down to the river. Water reflections, historic architecture and space to fire something really special — Fawley Court has it all.
Heythrop Park, Chipping Norton
A vast estate near Chipping Norton with the kind of room that lets a display stretch its legs: wide firing arcs, long sight lines and space for a proper finale.
Studley Priory, Oxford
A historic manor in the hills outside Oxford — intimate and atmospheric. Venues like this suit a fast-paced, tightly choreographed show where every second counts.
Milton Hill House, Abingdon
A Georgian manor in 22 acres near Abingdon and a venue from our regulars list — the flexible grounds make agreeing a firing site straightforward.
Ardington House, Wantage
A beautiful Georgian house in the Vale of White Horse. The grounds and open lawns give a display an elegant, contained stage.
More Oxfordshire venues we've worked at
The list doesn't stop there — we've also fired displays at Fallowfields near Abingdon, Carswell Golf & Country Club, Shiplake College near Henley, and the Stag & Huntsman at Hambleden on the county border. If your venue is in Oxfordshire, there's a good chance we already know the site.
Making the most of an Oxfordshire venue
Large estates give us the safety distances for the biggest effects, while the riverside venues around Henley add reflections that transform a display. Whatever the setting, the show can be traditional and high-impact or a pyromusical choreographed to your chosen music — designed around the venue, never off a shelf.
